Bio Sketch

Tyler Hendershot is a physician assistant under the care of Jagannathan Neurosurgery. Within his role as a Physician Assistant, Tyler works closely with Dr. Kramer and Dr. Jagannathan, and assists in both clinical and surgical settings.

Tyler earned his Bachelor of Science in Integrative Physiology and Health Science from Alma College and completed his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Kettering College in Ohio in 2020. He began his health care career as a Certified Nurse Aide in 2014 and later transitioned into a role as a phlebotomist in 2016 before attending PA school. During his clinical rotations in PA school, Tyler completed clinical clerkships in orthopedics, internal medicine, emergency medicine, family medicine, general surgery, and pediatrics.

Tyler’s sports background inspired his journey into medicine. He has always been fascinated by surgery and his passion began when he tore his ACL playing soccer. During Tyler’s recovery, he knew he wanted to dedicate his career helping and improving the lives of others. Tyler enjoys the problem-solving perspective of medicine as well as the provider-patient relationships that develop.

When Tyler is not providing care to patients, he enjoys spending time being active outdoors, spending time with his fiancé, and watching his favorite sports teams. Go Green, Go White!
